The Annual Cordner Shield, presented to Banbridge Academy in 1998 by the late Mrs Dorothy Mathers (Mr Cordners Grandmother), will be played for on Wednesday 29 Mar 17 at 1330 at both the School astro and Havelock Park. The U13 will face KJHS at Havelock with the 12s at the school venue. We thank Mrs Murphy of KJHS for accepting the challenge invitation and bring her two talented Portadown squads over for the afternoon of hockey and friendship.
There will also be a Leavers X1 game at 1530 when the Upper Sixth leavers take on a plucky “Staying X1” – with a small BBQ for players and staff afterwards. Both John Clarke and David Agnew will be in attendance to assist Mr Cordner and Mr Walker.
